Overview
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Two's Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the foundational years of children’s development. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers aged two to three years old. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional growth, and support early learning milestones through dynamic lesson planning and compassionate care. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddler age groups, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles when applicable
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
  • Engage children in hands-on activities that support physical development, social skills, language acquisition, and early math concepts
  • Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs related to special education or behavior management, and support child welfare
  • Maintain detailed records of each child's developmental progress, classroom activities, and assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements when necessary
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, mealtimes, nap schedules, and outdoor play sessions
  • Participate in ongoing professional development focused on childhood development trends, classroom management techniques, and early childhood education best practices

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques for toddlers
  • Experience in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education and preschool readiness skills
  • Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for young children
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or child welfare programs
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods and teaching physical education suited for toddlers is a plus
  • Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation
  • Prior classroom experience in daycare or private preschool settings is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools
  • Skills in lesson planning that incorporate math concepts suitable for toddler learners

Benefits & Compensation  

  • Paid time off
  • Hourly Rate: $18.00 to $20.00 based on experience.  

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, school-day hours 15 hours/wk, ideal for someone looking for a work life balance.
